Grandma's Cheesecake from Sarah Flint
2 pkgs 8oz cream cheese
2 eggs, separated
1 Cup Sugar
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
graham cracker crust
Soften cream cheese over low heat if necessary. Stir in egg yolks, sugar, salt.
Heat mixture over low heat for 5 min.
Blend in well-beaten egg whites.
Continue heating until egg whhites are blended.
Add Vanilla.
Pour mixture into graham cracker crust.
Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
Cool for 15min and then make topping.
Topping
1/2 pint sour cream
3 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Mix together topping and then put it on cooled cheesecake.
Bake them together @475 degrees for 5 minutes.
Cool.
Keep Refrigerated.
